Upgraded Website & Free Mobile App for Chamber Members

n January of this year, the Chamber made a bold move and migrated over to a new website, program and system.  It's called Chambermaster and it has some pretty robust features.

Maybe you didn't notice since the web address stayed the same.  But, trust me when I tell you this new website has HUGE potential for our members and even the community!

As a new administrator for the Chamber, I'm still getting used to all the bells and whistles, how they work, how to code the website just how we want it, and how to best get information out to members.  I'm learning new capabilities every day and always trying to find the best ways to put all the features to good use so that it benefits our members the most.

I will show you a lot of features throughout the year, but let me start with this...  our website is actually two websites in one:

Two Websites in One

When I say there are two websites in one, what I mean is there is the free, open, community website that anyone can access by going to www.lakenonacc.org AND there is a separate, members-only website you can access once you log in.

On the landing page (top image), anyone can access our member directory and events, sign up to be a member, view our blog, join our mailing list, view job listings and hot deals, and more.  My hope is that this website will be seen as a resource not only to members, but to the Lake Nona community as a whole.

Now, when you go to that top right corner and LOG IN, you will find even more resources exclusive to you as a member of the Chamber.  It's called the Member Information Center (lower image).  This is where you can update your profile and account settings, post job listings and hot deals, post to and view our newsfeed, post your own events, and more capabilities that I'm still learning about.

The second thing I'm really excited to tell you about is our FREE MOBILE APP!  As a member of the Chamber, all you have to do is go to your apps store and search for MemberPlus.  Download the app, then use your same log in and password you use for the Chamber website.  Now you'll have the member directory right at your fingertips, you can check the events calendar anywhere you go, and you can post and read through our newsfeed at any time just like any other social media app!  Check out these 5 screen shots:

This FREE mobile app allows members to do the following:

  • Receive push notifications from your Chamber
  • View member listings
  • Access your Member Information Center (the "second website")
  • Update your profile
  • Interact with other members via the Community Feed
  • Post and view job listings and member-to-member discounts

What do you need to do to get started?  First, if you've not already received your log in permissions and set up your password, please reach out to me by emailing me at administration@lakenonacc.org.  You can add as many reps to your company as your Chamber membership registration was for, and each rep can have their own log in, and therefore their own access to the mobile app.

Second, log in to the website and update your profile with pictures, social media and website links, and all your contact information!  The easier you are to reach, the more likely you are to close the sale.

Third, download the app to your mobile device and begin using this as a regular resource.  The more members who are active in the community feed and adding job listings and deals, the more useful this app will be to everyone!

Remember, our mission is to enhance economic growth of the Lake Nona area by focusing on education, promotion and development of the Lake Nona business community, and those areas of the community affecting business.  This website and app are resources we've provided you to help accomplish this mission.  We hope you will make good use of these tools and let us know about any questions or feedback you may have!
